Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum amount of data needed to run the service. Nothing about your gameplay, sessions, or in-game activity is logged or sold.

What we collect

• Account data: the email or Discord ID you used at checkout, your license key, and the timestamps of your purchases.
• Hardware ID: a hashed identifier of your machine, used to enforce one-license-per-device.
• Loader telemetry: Macho reports build version, OS version, and success or failure of the bypass step. Used solely to debug compatibility issues.
• Payment data: handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store full card numbers.

What we do not collect

• Anything about your FiveM sessions, server names, characters, or in-game actions.
• Screenshots, video, voice, or chat from your game.
• Files outside the Macho install directory.
• Browsing history, other applications, or background process data.

How we use it

• To validate your license when Macho launches.
• To send you receipts, build announcements, and security notices.
• To investigate abuse (key sharing, chargeback fraud, terms violations).
• To improve compatibility based on aggregate, non-identifying telemetry.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data. We share only with:

• Our payment processor, to handle billing.
• Hosting and CDN providers, to deliver the loader and updates.
• Law enforcement, only when legally compelled.

Data retention

Account and license data is kept for as long as your account is active, plus 12 months after deletion to handle late refunds, chargebacks, or fraud disputes. Telemetry logs are rotated and deleted within 90 days.

Your rights

You can request a copy of all data we hold on you, or request deletion, by opening a ticket in the official Discord. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

Cookies

The website uses a single first-party cookie to remember whether you are logged into your dashboard. No third-party trackers, no advertising pixels.

Changes

If we change how data is collected or used, we will post the change on this page and announce it in the Discord at least 14 days before it takes effect.
